Franklin County seeks public health volunteers

MALONE — Franklin County Public Health is looking for volunteers who can consistently dedicate at least a half a day of time, most days of the week, to be called in as needed both for contact tracing and, in the future, to assist with vaccine distribution.

While you do not have to be a health care provider to volunteer, clinical or public health experience is preferred.

If interested, go to ServNY (https://apps.health.ny.gov/pub/servny) to sign up. Click “Log in to NYS.gov,” then click “sign in” (or click on “Don’t have an account?” if you need to create a personal account). Once in, click “Health Applications,” then “ServNY.” Once in ServNY, you’ll be guided through several pages of information used to get to know you and your qualifications and skill set.
