TUPPER LAKE — A third teen has been charged charged with stealing a pickup truck in Tupper Lake by village police.

The 14-year-old from Tupper Lake was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, a felony, Friday, the same charge two 15-year-olds were charged with Thursday.

While the two 15-year-olds were also charged by State Police after crashing the truck along a gravel portion of Bloomer Road in the town of Malone, the 14-year-old was not in the truck when it crashed. Neither teen in the truck were hurt.

Tupper Lake village police said their investigation is ongoing and declined to provide more information at this time.
