Pendragon streams young actors in ‘Pets in Quarantine’

SARANAC LAKE — On Wednesday, Sept. 9, Pendragon Theatre started streaming “Pets in Quarantine” by Stephen Murray.

The family-friendly comedy stars Summer Cranker, Olivia Marroco, Zach Richards and others, and is directed by Kent Streed. Caleb Mihill is the film editor, sound and graphics designer. The production will stream through Sept. 15 and is free.

After “Pets in Quarantine,” the next scheduled production is “Disenchanted!,” a musical comedy that will run Sept. 18, 19, 25 and 26. Tickets cost $20 and will go on sale soon. The show offers a new take on princess stories; it is not recommended for children.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pendragon Theatre has shifted to a “germ-free season” for 2020, broadcasting play readings, virtual productions and alternative performance formats.
