Moose and more auctioned for Tupper Arts

TUPPER LAKE — A silent auction is being hosted by Tupper Arts at various locations around Tupper Lake next week.

The gallery will be auctioning off wooden moose that were painted by local artists as part of its “Moose on the Loose” contest.

The first silent auction is slated for Thursday, Sept. 3 at Raquette River Brewery, from noon to closing time. The second auction is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 4 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Municipal Park.

Auction winners will be announced on Friday. The art will be available for pickup on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 5 and 6 at Tupper Arts on Park Street. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the gallery.
