TUPPER LAKE — Milling operations, in advance of highway repairs and paving, began Tuesday on a portion of state Route 3 in this village, between Kildare Road and Pleasant Avenue.

Milling is expected to be done Wednesday, July 15. Then crews will make spot repairs to the highway. Paving is scheduled to begin in mid-August and be completed by the end of August. Paving activities are weather dependent and subject to change, based upon conditions.

Drivers traveling through the work zone should expect minor delays and lane closures, with traffic controlled by flaggers. Drivers are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.
