Nearly 80 people — including members of the Lake Placid Police Department and Lake Placid Volunteer Fire Department — passed through during a drive-by birthday bash to celebrate Ruth Hart’s 101st birthday in Lake Placid on Sunday. Hart is the wife of the late Dr. George Hart, and a beloved longtime resident of Lake Placid.
