Sue Capone of Vermontville, left, and Cena Abramo transfer boxes of food from a Hub on the Hill delivery truck to Capone’s car Thursday so Capone can take the food to Tupper Lake for distribution to families in need. Hub on the Hill, based in Essex, is working with the Saranac Lake-based AdkAction to provide food for those in need. The groups started distributing 100 boxes a week, provided 150 boxes this week and is expected to go up to 230 next week, thanks to increased donations toward the program.
