SARANAC LAKE — A group called Adirondack Teen is promoting three initiatives for local teenagers.

“Hot Shot”

Adirondack Teen is looking for a spring Hot Shot for May 1. If you are a teen or a group of teens who have done an exceptional job at something or have performed an exceptional series of deeds or actions, you can fill out a submission form to be considered for the next Hot Shot: https://www.adirondackteen.com/adk-hot-shots.

Skateboard design contest

The winner of the Adirondack Skateboard Design Contest will receive $100 cash plus a skateboard with their design and the ADKTeen logo.

Participants can download the template and get out their colored pencils, crayons, magic marker or other media to create an Adirondack theme design. The deadline to submit is midnight on May 31. The rules and template are at https://www.adirondackteen.com/whats-your-art.
