LAKE PLACID — The Northwood School campus — including the Cobble Mountain trailhead access from Northwood School property — is closed to the public, as per Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s “New York State On PAUSE” order, school officials announced Thursday.

The school said Lake Placid residents may continue to access Cobble Mountain trails from the state’s trailhead on state Route 86 or the “Purple Trail” access via Mount Whitney Road or Cobble Hill Road.
