Long Lake telecom project, Webb home on APA agenda this week

RAY BROOK — The state Adirondack Park Agency will hold its monthly meeting at its headquarters in Ray Brook this Thursday and Friday.

The board will convene at 1 a.m. Thursday to consider approval for a proposed variance to expand a preexisting single-family dwelling located on Third Lake in the town of Webb, Herkimer County, and deliberate a proposed telecommunication project from Vertical Bridge Holdings LLC for the installation of two self-supporting monopole towers in the town of Long Lake, Hamilton County.

At 3 p.m. Agency Enforcement will hear an enforcement proceeding regarding the alleged establishment of a tourist accommodation and the installation and construction of associated structures on lands classified for rural use, within the designated Hudson River Recreational River Area in the town Thurman, Warren County.

Friday at 10:30 a.m., Special Assistant for Economic Affairs Dan Kelleher will present an overview to the Economic Affairs Committee on the agency’s activities related to economic development and community planning.
