SARANAC LAKE — Brandy Brook Avenue, from state Route 86 (Lake Flower Avenue and River Street) to Pine Street, will be closed to traffic Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for sewer reconstruction.

Local traffic will remain open during the workday, and homeowners in the area may experience interrupted sewer service, according to a post on the village of Saranac Lake’s Facebook page.

The sewer line being worked on goes along Brandy Brook Avenue from Lake Flower Avenue to Pine Street, and then along Pine Street from Brandy Brook to Payeville Lane, according to village Manager John Sweeney. The work has been ongoing for many months, he added.
