The Small Glories at Music on the Green

SARANAC LAKE — The Small Glories will take the gazebo stage at Berkeley Green Wednesday for the third week of the Music on the Green summer series.

The Small Glories, from Winnipeg, Manitoba, are a brand-new union between folk-roots artist Cara Luft and singer-songwriter J.D. Edwards.

This duo welcomes the audience in with lyrical harmonies and funk-pop melodies on the banjo, guitar and harmonica. Their music focuses on a dynamic, powerful vocal blend, and their songs tell tales of love, loss and environment.

They have recorded an album and toured together since their initial matchup for Winnipeg’s West End Cultural Centre’s 25th Anniversary Concert.

Music on the Green is a free summer concert series that takes place in Berkeley Green every Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

In the event of rain, the performance will move to the Hotel Saranac.
