SARANAC LAKE — Local resident Scott McKim will give a presentation at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bitters & Bones about a paddle to the Arctic Ocean through Alaska’s National Wildlife Refuge.

“My paddling roots are in the Adirondacks, and I hope to highlight that, stressing you don’t need to go to far-off places to get a good paddling experience,” McKim said in a press release.

McKim will show photos and videos of wildlife and tundra he experienced along the way. The presentation will last about 45 minutes. He will take questions after the talk.

This event is free and open to the public. It is part of Celebrate Paddling month in Saranac Lake. For more info, visit www.celebratepaddlingadk.com.
