SARANAC LAKE — The Harrietstown Republican Committee held its caucus for the Nov. 5 election Wednesday night, with no contests from within the party.

According to committee head Joe Spadero, Patty Meagher and Ashley Milne were chosen to run for town council and Ken McLaughlin for town justice. Milne is a newcomer to the area and a first-time candidate.

Meagher is an incumbent running for her second term. McLaughlin is also an incumbent, being well-seasoned as a justice.

Each of the candidates submitted a letter of intent to Spadero, who approved it, and it was seconded from the floor.
