SARANAC LAKE — Coakley Home & Hardware is partnering with Bonide, in a spring lawn and garden products sale, to benefit High Peaks Hospice.

The fundraiser will take place on Friday and Saturday at the Coakley store on Lake Flower Avenue. Fifty percent of Bonide and Revenge sales on those dates will benefit compassionate, end-of-life health care in North Country communities.

Coakley will also offer free soil testing to those who bring a soil sample (about 20 ounces). Experts will be on hand to answer lawn, garden, and pest repellent questions.

The fundraiser will continue outside the store as Coakley’s fires up its grill. Volunteers will sell hot dogs and hamburgers to hungry shoppers.
