LAKE PLACID — The Green Market is a community environmental awareness event, hosted by Lake Placid High School students, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday on the Olympic Speedskating Oval.

This family-friendly day offers a farmers market and craft fair, live music, a farm-to-school lunch competition and a special presentation from the Lake Placid mayor. There will also be a student Climate Reality presentation and exhibits from several organizations and schools.
