TUPPER LAKE — Flooding on River Road has caused the dead-end road to be restricted to local traffic only, according to Tupper Lake Volunteer Fire Department Secretary Mark Picerno.

Picerno said the village did not have any further concern about the flooding reaching residents’ homes. He also said the Municipal Park on the shore of Raquette Pond has been closed. Its water has stretched well onto the grassy area and softball field.
