Pipe bursts at bank

From left, village of Saranac Lake code enforcement officer Patrick Giblin, fire Chief Brendan Keough and firefighters Ken McLaughlin and Nate Jones gather near the back entrance of the Adirondack Bank’s Main Street location Tuesday morning while investigating a burst hot water pipe on the bottom floor. Keough said the water flowed down into the basement and out through a floor drain. “They have some wet carpets, some ceiling tile down, but relatively speaking, minor damage,” he said.
