Enterprise will host job fair Wednesday at NCCC

SARANAC LAKE – The Adirondack Daily Enterprise will host the largest Job Fair in the Tri-Lakes area Wednesday.

There are more than 200 positions that need to be filled by the attending businesses, agencies, and institutions. There are a large selection from summer jobs to permanent career positions available. It is a great opportunity for those actively seeking or someone passively considering a change at their present position.

The job fair will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 at North Country Community College’s gym in the Sparks Athletic Complex.

Those interested will have the opportunity to receive a list of positions available by the 40 attending businesses, as well as drawings for prizes and raffle.

Partners such as the Saranac Lake Rotary Club will be offering resume reviews and mock interviews. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes, dressing appropriately and to put cell phones on vibrate.

Immediately following the event from 4 to 5 p.m., the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce will host a networking mixer with refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and music by Mike Saulplaugh’s The Wave.

If anyone is unable to attend, there is a special tabloid “Get the Job” with ads for these available positions inside today’s paper. If you miss the issue, you can pick up a copy at the offices of the Enterprise at 54 Broadway in Saranac Lake or the Lake Placid News at 6179 Sentinel Ave. in Lake Placid.
