SARANAC LAKE -?Roedel Companies has announced Carolyn Bordonaro as director of sales for the Hotel Saranac.

In a press release, Roedel Companies said Bordonaro has “extensive experience” in the hospitality industry, including the Adirondacks. Her most recent position was director of sales for The Courtyard by Marriott in Lake Placid.

“The Hotel Saranac is pleased to have someone with such passion for this industry and experience in the market,” Hotel Saranac General Manager Michael Salyers said in the release.

Bordonaro is responsible for crafting sales strategies for the Hotel Saranac and helping support the hotel’s restoration.

“I am thrilled to work in this beautiful area and be part of such dedicated team,” Bordonaro said. “The opportunity to be a part of Hotel Saranac’s restoration is exciting.”

Bordonaro received her bachelor’s degree from SUNY at Buffalo and a master’s certificate in food service from Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration.
