ORCHARD PARK – The Saranac Lake 6er logo was seen clearly during Thursday night’s CBS broadcast of the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills football game.

John Lang, a Lockport resident and annual visitor to Saranac Lake, was shown in his customary “Bills Elvis” garb with a 6er sticker pasted to his guitar.

Lang became 6er No. 1,624 after hiking his final mountain in August.

The 6er program started in 2013. A person earns membership to the club by hiking Baker, Scarface, St. Regis, Ampersand, Haystack and McKenzie mountains.
