Wal-Mart worker wounded outside store

QUEENSBURY (AP) – Authorities say they’re looking for a man who shot another man in the face as he sat in a vehicle in the parking lot of a Wal-Mart store in upstate New York.

State police tell local media that the victim is a Wal-Mart employee in his 50s who was hit with shotgun pellets fired around 9 p.m. Wednesday outside the store in the Warren County town of Queensbury, 45 miles north of Albany.

Officials say the man was treated at the hospital in nearby Glens Falls for non-life-threatening injuries.

A witness told police that the victim walked into the store after being shot. His name hasn’t been released.

Police say a man suspected of being the shooter was seen driving away afterward.
