SARANAC LAKE — Four-time Olympian Andrea Henkel Burke will lead a Wellness Workshop at North Country Community College from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16.

Free and open to the public, the workshop will focus on three easy steps to enjoying a long, healthy life: mobility, eating and fueling, and light aerobic exercise. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing, bring a light sweater to stay warm and be prepared to have fun.

The workshop will be held in the Sparks Athletic Complex on the college’s Saranac Lake campus.

A native of Germany, Henkel Burke is a four-time Olympic athlete in biathlon. She won two Olympic gold medals and eight World Championship titles during her career. Now retired from competition, she works as a personal trainer and lives in Lake Placid with her husband, U.S. Olympic biathlete Tim Burke.

No preregistration is necessary for the Wellness Workshop. For more information, contact trainer@andrea-burke.com or visit https://www.andrea-burke.com.
