LAKE PLACID — Norfolk Law PLLC last week announced the hiring of Lori Fitzgerald as a paralegal.

She will support attorneys Matthew Norfolk, founder of the Lake Placid firm, Jill Beier, and Ayah Badran, who also recently joined the firm and will sit for the bar exam in October. She joins Lisette Cimaglia and Kate Mazdzer as part of the firm’s support staff.

Fitzgerald has more than 30 years of marketing and sales experience in various industries, including publishing, retail and hospitality. She is originally from New York City and moved to Lake Placid in 2010 to work as a marketing and sales executive at the High Peaks Resort. She is currently a board member of the Lake Placid Business Association and the Lake Placid Horse Show Association, and has been active in many other community organizations and initiatives.
