LAKE PLACID — Workshop, a marketing company based in Lake Placid, co-sponsored a Nurses Week celebration at Adirondack Health workers.

Nurses Week, which ran from May 6 to 12, recognizes nurses throughout the country for their hard work.

Workshop donated baked goods and fruit cups from Lakeview Deli in Saranac Lake to accompany the health center’s Pathway Cafe, a cart with an espresso machine that is set up at Adirondack Health locations for all employees to enjoy. The Pathway Cafe is also set up at various times throughout the year as a way to connect different departments, and as a thank-you to Adirondack Health employees.

“We are incredibly grateful for all of the health care professionals who work to protect our community every day,” Workshop President Tim Kelleher said in a press release. “It has been a particularly challenging time for those on the frontlines of COVID-19, and we have tremendous respect for all who have worked diligently to help others.”
