Adirondack Health names VP of Support Services

SARANAC LAKE – Following an extensive search, Adirondack Health has named Dana Kellerman as the new vice president of support services/chief human resources officer. Starting Oct. 3, Kellerman will assume management responsibilities of Adirondack Health’s human resources, nutritional services, plant operations and environmental services.

Kellerman has been serving as the directorof human resources, site services and compliance for Preferred Mutual Insurance Company. Previously, she worked for five years as the senior human resources and shared services delivery director for GE Corporate based in Schenectady, where she managed compensation and benefit services programs for over 150,000 employees.

Kellerman has more than 18 years of global operational experience, coupled with 16 years of progressive human resources, site services and marketing expertise. She has helped develop and implement strategic compensation, benefit, staff development and performance management plans in both healthcare and non-healthcare settings.

Kellerman holds a variety of degrees and certifications, including a Certificate in Radiology from Albany Memorial Hospital. She earned a bachelor of science in science/organization behavior from Saint Joseph’s College, Standish, Maine and is in the process of completing a masters of science in organization behavior/human resources studies from Capella University, Minneapolis, Minn.

Kellerman will come to the Tri-Lakes area from Wilton with her husband, David and daughter, Deidra. A native of Duanesburg, Kellerman said she looks forward to exploring all that the Adirondacks has to offer.

As avid skiers, Kellerman and her family have enjoyed the Adirondacks for many years. Having competed in several local triathlons, including the Ironman, they look forward to returning asrecreational triathletes.

In addition, her daughter Deidra loves to fish, so the entire family is excited to learn more about fly fishing.
