Adirondack Health’s Mobile Dental Clinic returns

SARANAC LAKE – The Adirondack Health Mobile Dental Clinic has announced its summer schedule.

The Mobile Dental Clinic will serve the communities of AuSable Forks and Tupper Lake on Thursdays from now through October.

The “dental clinic on wheels” accommodates residents ages three and older in communities where access to dental care is limited. The Mobile Dental Clinic is a retro-fitted recreational vehicle fully registered, licensed and insured in New York state and certified by the Department of Health to provide dental care.

The clinic accepts most insurances, including Medicaid. Self-pay patients are also welcome. Appointments are required.

In addition to the usual reminders about brushing and flossing, healthcare professionals provided by the dental service also offer smoking cessation counseling for patients.

Dental care at the mobile clinic is provided by Dr. Peter M. Rosenberger, a dentist with Adirondack Health’s Dental Service in Lake Placid. The mobile dental clinic is made possible in part with support from MVP Health Care, New York State Senator Elizabeth “Betty” Little, Excellus, and the Adirondack Health Foundation.

To schedule an appointment with the dental clinic call 518-523-1122 or toll free 1-888-523-2632.
