SARANAC LAKE — Downtown Saranac Lake was full of fall fun on Saturday, Oct. 18, as the village hosted its second annual High Peaks Harvest Festival.
This year, the village partnered with the High Peaks Farmers Market to celebrate the market’s last outdoor day of the season before it moves inside the Hotel Saranac for the winter. The event brought together local farmers, makers, businesses and families for a day filled with autumn cheer.
“The High Peaks Harvest Festival has quickly become one of our favorite community traditions,” said Katrina Glynn, Community Development Director for the Village of Saranac Lake. “Partnering with the High Peaks Farmers Market was the perfect way to wrap up their outdoor season and highlight everything that makes downtown Saranac Lake so special.”
The festival took place in Berkeley Green and along Main Street, featuring live music, food & beverage trucks, craft vendors, kids’ activities and goats. Hundreds of people came out to enjoy the crisp weather and support local businesses.
