Local student receives chemistry award at SUNY Oneonta

ONEONTA — Madison Klotzko of Upper Jay was one of nine SUNY Oneonta students from the chemistry and biochemistry department who received awards this semester.

Klotzko was a recipient of the Chemistry and Biochmesity Department Scholarship.

SUNY Potsdam recognizes local graduates at commencement

POTSDAM — The State University of New York at Potsdam recognized the class of 2025 during the college’s 205th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 17.

¯ Megan LaBar of Saranac Lake, who graduated with distinction with a master of science degree in management.

¯ Logan Lavallee of AuSable Forks, who graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in social studies middle/secondary education and gistory.
