LAKE PLACID — The Rotary Club of Lake Placid’s Literacy Committee donated $2,000 to support the Learning Without Tears program for Pre-K students at St. Agnes School. The funds were raised through the club’s community Trivia Nights.
This contribution aims to enhance early literacy development by providing engaging, hands-on learning tools designed to build strong foundations in reading and writing.
“We’re proud to support the youngest learners in our community,” said MaryLiz Alexander, who heads up the Rotary Club’s Literacy Committee. “Programs like Learning Without Tears set the stage for lifelong learning, and we’re honored to play a part in that journey.”
