Northwood boys soccer continues hot streak
Huskies U19 tops South Kent 3-0, U17 squad wins 5-1

LAKE PLACID — The Northwood School U19 boys soccer team secured another win Saturday, continuing its hot streak with a 3-0 victory over the South Kent Cardinals.
The host Huskies, which rank No. 3 overall in the nation for boys high school in the latest Sports Illustrated Top 15 Boys Soccer Prep School National Rankings, are currently unbeaten at 8-0-1 so far this season.
Junior Will German, of Albany, opened up the scoring for Northwood, as seniors Ashton Khory of Toronto, and Mohamed Ahmed of Nairobi, Kenya, also found the back of the net.
The Huskies U17 team also beat South Kent’s U17 team, 5-1.
Up next, the Northwood boys soccer teams will travel to Rivier University in Nashua, New Hampshire, for their next games. The U19 squad will take on Bayside FC MLS Next U19 on Saturday and IFA MLS Next U19 on Sunday. The U17 team will take on IFA MLS Next U17.
