SARANAC LAKE — Four Tri-Lakes track and field athletes from the Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake school districts competed in the New York State Public High School Track and Field Championships at Cicero-North Syracuse High School this past Friday and Saturday.

Tupper Lake’s Olivia Ellis, a junior, shined on the bright stage in the girls’ pentathlon, finishing in sixth place in the second division with 2,404 points. Her five-event total was good enough to break a school record.
