Moriah runs through Storm
SARANAC LAKE — The Saranac Lake boys basketball team lost at home Thursday, falling 74-45 to Moriah in Champlain Valley Athletic Conference play.
Braden Swain led the Vikings with a game-high 23 points. Owen Fleury also drained 10 points in the win.
Senior Jacob Shipman paced the Red Storm with 14 points, and Zach Churco added nine in the loss.
The Vikings led 41-26 at intermission.
The Red Storm remained winless with the loss, falling to 0-6 overall.
Saranac Lake next plays a non-league game Saturday against St. Lawrence Central. That matchup will be held at North Country Community College starting at 1:30 p.m.
