LAKE PLACID — The Placid Planet Time Trials series completed its fourth week Wednesday, with 25 riders taking on the out-and-back course on River Road.

The free series continues this week and concludes June 7. Team Placid Planet will also hosts its final Kids’s Time Trails Series event this week, with a shorter course on River Road. The adult series race start at 6:30 p.m. and the Kids’ Series starts at 6 p.m.

The time trials are individual races against the clock. Adult participants accumulate points throughout the series that are based on personal improvement and fastest man and woman each night. A $100 gift card at the bike shop will be given to the top male and female at the conclusion of the series.

Kevin Bouchard-Hall recorded the fastest time of the series on May 17 when he covered the course in 15 minutes, 38 seconds. On that same night, Caitlyn Skufca put down the fastest women’s time with a 20:49.

Roseanne VanDorn has been the top female finisher on three different nights, with a 22:26 on May 3, a 22:53 on May 10 and a 21:25 on May 24. She did not compete on May 17.
