Spring breaking in Colorado

Gunnar and Parker Anthony, of Lake Placid, take a break during the United States Ski and Snowboard Association Nationals last week in Copper, Colorado. Gunnar, 15, won all of his skiercross heats on the way to a first-place finish in the 14- to 15-year-old age group. Parker, 13, placed 25th overall in the 12- to 13-year-old age group. The Anthony brothers regularly compete in Adirondack Series races that take place at Whiteface and Gore mountains, as well as in the Catskill Mountain Series at Windham Mountain. The nationals in Colorado were comprised of more than 800 competitors from around the country and took place over a two-week period.
