Top trotters

Anderson Gray, left, and Mari Walsh won the men’s and women’s overall titles in the 5-kilometer Bitters and Bones Turkey Trot held on a snowy Thanksgiving Day morning in Saranac Lake. The event was held for the second straight year and drew well over 200 participants, as well as family pets and even a mini horse and a couple of goats. The field included entries ranging from serious runners to walkers, who all helped raise funds for the Saranac Lake Interfaith Food Pantry and the Saranac Lake Central School District.
