Workers from Ketco Inc., of Albany, replace a culvert beneath the railroad tracks behind McKenzie Slough in Saranac Lake recently. This is one of 15 large culverts the state is paying Ketco $5.3 million to build in Essex, Warren, Saratoga, Albany and Greene counties, according to the state Department of Transportation. This week Ketco has been reassembling the tracks over the culvert.
