King contest winner

Colden Celeste, left, a seventh grader at Saranac Lake Middle School, holds up the poster he created of Martin Luther King Jr. giving his “I Have a Dream” speech in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., with middle school Principal Patrica Kenyon at Tuesday’s Saranac Lake school board meeting. Celeste’s work won top honors in the Saranac Lake Ecumenical Council’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. poster contest. The Rev. Bill Small and Rich Loeber of the Ecumenical Council presented Celeste with a certificate and $200 cash for winning the contest.
