St. Patrick’s Poetry Reading March 13

March 7, 2013
Adirondack Daily Enterprise

On March 13 at 3 p.m., the Lake Placid Poets' Guild will host a St. Patrick's Poetry Reading at Saranac Village at Will Rogers. The reading will feature a selection of Irish poetry, limericks and toasts.

The Lake Placid Poets' Guild is comprised of poets whose mission is to make poetry accessible and to nurture the art of poetry making. In keeping with this mission, it has started a poetry library at Will Rogers for residents. This enables the residents who would like to participate in the readings to have access to poems.

Poetry readings will be held on the second Wednesday of each month at 3 p.m.

This program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
