SARANAC LAKE - A "code green" drill was held Friday throughout the Saranac Lake Central School District, involving the evacuation of both the high school and Petrova middle-elementary school buildings.

It is meant to serve as practice in case of an an actual emergency that would require students to vacate the buildings. The high school students were moved to the Petrova school auditorium while the Petrova school students went to the Harrietstown Town Hall.
