Wondering has a point, but not all lawyers are good guys. Many are hired guns happily collecting their fees to abuse the system. Protect the Adirondacks and the Sierra Club are two groups more than happy to hire lawyers to abuse the system and clog our courts with frivolous lawsuits.

Yah it's the lawyers fault that some corporations (Verizon, credit card compnies etc.)cheat their customers as has been done in the past. It's the lawyers fault that large companies use their clout to circumvent local ordinances and environmental law to feed the inflated salaries of their CEOs. Yah maybe it is the lawyers, the ones that shill for the corporations that is.
