Appreciating the small things
To the editor:
I love driving through town early in the morning, when people are walking their dogs, village workers are plowing and shoveling the sidewalks, and residents are going to work. It’s when the village is waking up. I especially like the traffic lights at the corner of Main and River Streets when the left turn signal flashes yellow. There’s an order to it. It’s a time when all the troubles of the world are forgotten, at least for a few minutes.
