To the editor:

I wanted to express our deep gratitude to the tireless staff at Adirondack Health and Mountain Medical Urgent Care. They have been working long hours (often 12 hour days) to help us through the pandemic, especially the last few weeks as the omicron variant has spread like wildfire through the North Country.

Their parking lots are often overfull with patients seeking COVID tests or other care. Yet they continue to respond to our requests with a smile and good wishes, despite knowing they will be working until late at night, only to get up early the next morning to do it again.

Although it is easy to get frustrated if you are unable to be seen immediately, please know that the staff at Mountain Medical and Adirondack Health are working as hard as they can to take care of us all. Thus, please have patience and understanding when they do get to see you, and welcome them with a smile to help them through their long days.
