To the editor:

Tracy Schrader is running for re-election to the Harrietstown Town Board where she is finishing her first four-year term.

It gives me great pleasure to endorse her candidacy. Anyone who serves on a municipal board has one mission — to save the taxpayer’s money. Watch every item in the budget, study every item in the meeting agendas, attend every board meeting.

To the best of my recollection, Tracy has done all the above and will have never missed one of the 96 official meetings in the last four years, in addition to many special meetings.

Tracy owns and operates a business with her husband and her expertise and cost concern surfaces when the town hall needs a roof repair, a front-end loader needs repair, or the airport crew needs to attend training sessions in Rochester.

I have served on many boards with many individuals and the voters in Harrietstown will be doing their best for their town if they vote to return Tracy to her seat on the town board.
