On China

To the editor:

COVID-19 came from the city of Wuhan in the People’s Republic of China. Whether it came from some laborer eating a bat sandwich in a “wet market,” like we have been told through official channels, or it was a mistaken or purposeful release of this deadly disease is not relevant to what I am writing here.

Wuhan has another distinction that is not being discussed too widely. Wuhan is the global center for the manufacture of opioids and the precursors for the making of methamphetamines. Even though laws have been set against the practice of selling opioids and making methamphetamines, it is still possible to get these chemicals and even equipment through the internet from companies located in or near Wuhan. Some very large pharmaceutical companies are used by the illegal drug industry to obscure their deadly work.

That’s how big they are. Too big to jail, I guess.

During the time when Bill Clinton was president, he allowed the transfer of nuclear technology to the People’s Republic of China. All on their own, they stole the plans for all the intercontinental ballistic missile systems that the United States operates.

In the past few days, President Biden called China (China is actually about seven different countries, and the real name of the tyrannical government ruling over them is the People’s Republic of China) a global security threat.

I read he had “his” top trade negotiator speak to her counterpart on the phone.

How’s that for staying on top of things?

Sincerely,

Alfred Brock
