Tupper Lake is peaceful, safe
To the editor:
An individual bemoans constitutional freedom in his published letter to the editor. He’s mad at Confederate flags in Tupper Lake and “social skeletons.” Whatever he dreams they are. People really, really, really, really like Tupper Lake. It is peaceful, safe and delightful. He doesn’t want to infringe on our First Amendment rights. Whew! Thank God! We dodged that bullet! I was a little worried that a solitary simpleton would destroy the First Amendment. There are plenty of places a man like him may really enjoy living: Baltimore, South Side Chicago or Detroit. Now, aren’t you all ashamed of your intolerance?
