To the editor:

Yes, it has gone on and on — started in March (spring) and rolled in to July (summer) and now is poking its nose in the direction of fall (autumn.) What will we know and do, come the unknown (winter)?

Our confrontation with COVID-19 can be looked on as mimicking Antonio Vivaldi’s four violin concerti, “The Four Seasons.” Listen to them on one of the search engines we all have access to. Each has its own movements, with the following tempos: FAST-slow-FAST. Each has its own life. Each has its own beauty. Each both cuts through our hearts and then gives them rest.

At the most delicate and frightening moments, listen, and let music give you rest.
