To the editor:

I want to thank Greg Moore of Bear Essentials. I came up with a idea to design a logo to support our health care workers throughout the Adirondacks. This included everyone in the health care profession such as nurses, doctors, clerical, maintenance, dietary, school nurses, home health care, EMT and Department of Health, etc., working through difficult times during the COVID-19 pandemic. Greg thought it was a great idea. “Let’s do it.” He gave a wonderful price for these first responders going to work every day, some on the front line, some in the back, not seen but washing and cleaning. etc. Health care employees had a wonderful choice of T-shirts, sweatshirts or baseball hats. I obtained orders and sent it in to Greg, and in a matter of weeks, all merchandise was done and delivered.

Greg, I would not have been able to do this without you and your business. I learned a lot and have much respect for you and your business. Also for those who purchased, thank you for supporting our local business.
