To the editor:

Our congresswoman was very vocal about the legislative branch of our government being bypassed by decisions of the executive branch when Obama was president, but now she is opposed to the House’s impeachment of Donald Trump for his executive overreach in withholding funds approved by Congress for assistance to Ukraine. Likewise his withholding funds approved for aid to Puerto Rico, and diverting funds approved for the Department of Defense so as to build his wall along our southern border, and innumerable other unilateral actions with no consultation or approval of Congress. Ms. Stefanik seems to have made an abrupt turn, which sometimes can cause one to stumble and fall.
