Food pantry thanks

To the editor:

I’m so proud to say I live in the North Country! People in our community have the biggest hearts when it comes to helping others.

Last month, our pantry needed help with turkeys for our holiday baskets, and boy, did the community respond! We serviced 80 families for Thanksgiving, and YOU made it possible for us to help them have a brighter meal. Since then, we have had another donation of turkeys to cover Christmas. This is more than we ever expected, but we shouldn’t be surprised.

I want to say THANK YOU to all of you who donated monetarily or with food donations. Because of your generosity, we will be able to make the season bright for our friends and neighbors.

Have a safe and wonderful holiday season, everyone.
